The Urban Aquaculture Center is issuing a call to designers for the creation of their new logo. The winning entry will become the symbol of our organization for years to come - gracing our website, our stationary, and any merchandise that may be produced during fund raising.
The Urban Aquaculture Center is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to:
PROMOTE urban aquaculture in Milwaukee through a fully operational demonstration facility and informational campaign
PRODUCE high quality aquaculture products to help meet the area’s consumption needs and reduce dependence on imported food & plant sources
PREPARE citizens to live in a sustainable way through educational exhibits and community demonstrations on urban aquaculture and its global & local benefits
The winning logo will be selected by a jury of Milwaukee designers and UAC Board Members and receive a $200 cash prize.
The contest is open to all. We suggest reviewing this, this, this, and this as you prepare your entry.
The logo needs to look good small on a business card, as well as large on a t-shirt or poster. It should convey the ideals of the Urban Aquaculture Center and help to promote its mission.

For your logo design contest, it’s really unclear what you want. If you could just make the guidelines a little more detailed as to what you are looking for, it’d be great. Thanks.
